American artist Rosalyn Drexler, famed for her Pop Art work, painted "Chubby Checker" in 1964. The painting is based off the the poster for the film "Twist Around the Clock" (1961), staring Chubby Checker, a performer who played a major role in popularizing the Twist dance craze.
