The “Pudgy” or Puje trumpet is a type of hybrid horn that combines parts and acoustic characteristics of trumpets, cornets and flugelhorns. This piece, made in silver with mother-of-pearl inlaid valves, and a characteristic bent bell was owned by Dizzy Gillespie.
