Today marks the 110th anniversary of Mary Lou Williams’ birth. A prolific jazz pianist, arranger, and composer, she was a mentor to several influential jazz musicians, and frequently composed and arranged for Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman. This sheet music is for a Billy Strayhorn arrangement of one of Williams’ compositions, “Little Joe From Chicago.”
