Calypso Songs: Harry Belafonte Story in Picture and Song

Jamaican-American singer and actor Harry Belafonte was born on this day in 1927. In the 1950s, when this book was published, Belafonte was best known for his calypso hits from his 1956 album Calypso, which was the first LP to sell over one million copies.
