Batik mural with a portrait of Jessica Dragonette, soprano and radio star, by Arthur Gordon Smith. The mural also includes the Original WJZ 500 Watt Transmitter Newark NJ, the City Service Broadcast over NBC, Radio City Music Hall, a portrait of Marconi, broadcasting to Byrd at the South Pole, an Armistice Day address from Arlington National Cemetery, zeppelins, airplanes, and skyscrapers, amid symbols of music and theater. A portrait of the artist appears in the lower left corner.
