Pianist, singer/songwriter and Black Panther Party leader Elaine Brown released the album "Seize the Time" in 1969. The album contains political songs written by Brown as well as the Black Panther Party National Anthem, "The Meeting." The LP cover art was designed by BPP Minister of Culture, Emory Douglas.

The album contains political songs written by Brown as well as the Black Panther Party National Anthem, "The Meeting." The LP cover art, designed by BPP Minister of Culture, Emory Douglas, features purple and black graphics of a woman with an AK-47 assault rifle and photos of children along the bottom. Bottom left corner shows party member with a flag portrait of "Elaine."
