This presentation is adapted from #DontMuteDC: An Oral History, a collaboration of the Smithsonian Folklife Festival of the Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage and Howard University’s Department of Communication, Culture and Media Studies. Recordings, photo portraits, and interview transcripts will be publicly available through the Ralph Ralph Rinzler Folklife Archives and Collections of the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, folklife.si.edu Interviews were recorded on June 6, 2019 at the Metro PCS store of Donald Campbell at 1915 Seventh Street NW, Washington DC, 20001.
