Set of Two Crochet Hooks

Object Details

Luce Center Label
Dennis Bosch carved these two crochet hooks from cattle bone, decorating the tops with carved gargoyles. Bosch’s admiration for Japanese carved objects is evident in the simple lines and in the mythical creatures that his pieces suggest.
Luce Object Quote
“Although I realize the importance of technology, I also feel it is important to maintain the quality of crafts that have been so much of our tradition.” Dennis Bosch
