"Stop Waste!"
Uncle Sam, holding a rifle, points as he invokes conservation. The two-cent United States Scott 907 is canceled by the boxed slogan Buy War Savings Bonds and Stamps. The cachet on this cover -- postmarked Buffalo, New York, June 15, 1943 -- was produced by Powers Press of Ames, Iowa. This design was one of ten patriotic envelopes in a 10-cent packet marketed by Powers Press.
