Description
The 33-cent Kwanzaa commemorative stamp was issued in Los Angeles, California on October 29, 1999. The stamp was designed and illustrated by Synthia Saint James of Los Angeles, California.
The stamp features the seven symbols that are used to celebrate the seven principles that form the foundation of Kwanzaa and is a reissue of the previous 32-cent Kwanzaa stamp.
Avery Dennison printed 95 million stamps in the gravure process.
