Description
The 18-cent Savings and Loans commemorative stamp was issued on may 8, 1981, in Chicago, Illinois. The design by Don Hedin honors the role this industry plays in making home ownership possible in America. The stamp was issued in a sheet of fifty and printed in the photogravure process.
