- Postcard distributed by the YMCA for AEF members' use. World War I. Front has a printed message indicating that the sender had arrived safely overseas. Military service members preparing for deployment were given these upon embarkation and the cards were mailed when the ship arrived safely. The sender, Steward C. Lockhart, signed below the printed message. The opposite side is addressed to Mrs. Nellie Bailey, Napa, California. Frank is printed: "Soldiers' Mail." Postmarked October 14, 1918 upon receipt in Sacramento, California. Censor mark with signature.
