Description
This paper certificate has a wooden frame with a glass cover. It certifies that R. Maxwell Tinsley, the father of the donor, was elected a fellow of the U.S. Metric Association on June 16, 1995. The certificate is signed by Lorelle Young, President, and Terry Richardson, Secretary, of the U.S. Metric Association.
The U.S. Metric Association, an organization that promotes the use of metric units in the United States, was founded in 1916 as the American Metric Association.
