- This dismountable model of a human eye was probably made in Germany. The “New York Scientific Supply Co., Inc. / REG. TRADE MARK / NYSSCo. / PRODUCTS / New York, N.Y.” inscription on a metal tag on the wooden stand refers to a firm that began in business, as such, in the 1930s.
