Description (Brief)
One Tesla fan motor. Nameplate reads "Westinghouse Elec.&M'f'g Co. / Pittsburgh, PA. / Pat. Tesla Jan 27'[18]91 / Hassler Feb.12'[18]89 / Other patents applied for Style No. 2624 / Volts 50 Altern. 7200." An early 2-phase alternating current induction motor with voltage input terminals on frame. Frame affixed to pedestal mounting. Removable rotor assembly.
