Ginger Rogers Follow the Fleet costume
- Full length gray beaded gown worn by Ginger Rogers in the 1936 RKO film, Follow the Fleet. The dress was worn during the number "Let's Face the Music and Dance." Bernard Newman designed this dress that is emblematic of the Art Deco style and integral to the Astaire-Rogers films. Additional miscellaneous detached pieces and fur stole are also included.
- Follow the Fleet is a romantic comedy starring Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, and Randolph Scott. It follows the story of a Navy sailor rekindling a romance in San Francisco.
