Object Details
- Description
- This folder contains multiple documents and a plastic sheet. The first document is entitled “Intermediate Classification Test (Form A).” It was devised by S.L. and L.C. Pressey for use in grades 3-6. It was published by the Public School Publishing Company in 1922. The 96-question test is annotated in black and red ink and is labeled “Key.” The second document appears to be identical to the first without annotations or markings.
- The other documents are disintegrating, but parts are still legible. One is entitled “Directions for the Intermediate Classification Test.” This was also devised by S.L. and L.C. Pressey for use in grades 3-6. The next document is related to the directions for the Pressey Intermediate Classification Test but has the additional subheading “A Brief Group Scale for Measuring General Ability.” There are directions for scoring pasted on a piece of cardboard. The final document appears to be an identical copy of the “Intermediate Classification Test (Form A).” Finally, the folder contains a sheet of plastic with black lines drawn on them as well as the word “Pressey.”
