- Tobacco felt of New York Yankees baseball player Roy Hartzell (1881-1961.)
- Tobacco felts, also known as tobacco flannels, were collectibles available to tobacco purchasers. This example comes from 1914's blanket series, so called because the examples could be stitched together to make a blanket.
- Hartzell, who found time in both the infield and outfield, played for the St. Louis Browns (1906-1910,) before joining the Highlanders/ Yankees in 1911. Retiring in 1916, Hartzell had a lifetime batting average of .252 with 397 runs batted in.
