Description
This Leroy Ellis basketball card is number 34 in a series of 264 manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. for the 1973-1974 NBA season. The front of the card features a posed picture of the Philadelphia 76ers center The card’s reverse features a small cartoon image illustrating the factoid that “Leroy came to the 76ers in a trade involving Bill Bridges,” as well as a short biography and career statistics.

That Lakers team set a then-NBA record for wins in a season with 69 victories. The next season (1972-73), Ellis played for the 76ers. That season the 76ers set an NBA record of 73 losses.
