Object Details
- Description
- This Mike Price basketball card is number 38 in a series of 264 that manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. for the 1973-1974 NBA season. The front of the card features a posed picture of the Philadelphia 76ers guard. The card’s reverse features a small cartoon image illustrating the factoid that “Mike is a native of Kentucky,” as well as a short biographical sketch and career statistics.
- Price played in the NBA for three years, two for the Knicks and one for the 76ers. He also played four games for the American Basketball Association's Indiana Pacers in the 1971-72 season. While this card was issued prior to the 1973-1974 NBA season, Price never suited up for the 76ers that year. Mike Price is the brother of fellow professional basketball player Jim Price.
