2-Keyed Tenor Oboe (spurious)

Description

This oboe was possibly made by G. Dolton, provenance unknown. 19th century. It is a 2-keyed tenor oboe (spurious), made of stained soft wood with brass ferrule and keys. The keys are adapted from a clarinet. This instrument is stamped:
