- Description (Brief)
- Developed by Mauser in 1878 this was the first German military revolver to fire modern brass cartridges. The six round grooved cylinder provides the nicname 'Zig-Zag.' It would be replaced by the semiautomatic C96 pistol, but many of the revolvers were used in World War I.
