- Description
- The inscription on the cardboard package reads in part “Fever Scan T.M. / EASY TO READ THERMOMETER” and “AMERICAN THERMOMETER CO., INC.” The firm introduced the term “FEVER SCAN” to commerce in 1979 and filed for a trademark in 1980. Winfried Schuberth (1936-2003), designer of this thermometer, was vice-president of the American Thermometer Co.
