- Description
- Open-top, rectangular, fretwork box divided widthwise into two, equal-size compartments. Consists of five sawn panels for the sides and divider, plus a plain, inset panel for bottom; exposed mortise-and-tenon and nailed construction. Front and black panels feature a perched, plumed bird in a circle at center flanked by reverse-image, frondlike leaves, while divider has inward-facing eagles over a lancet motif and ends each have two vertical plumes of serrated leaves. No marks.
