Obverse Image: Image of sacred mirror with Kanji above and below; hole through center.
Obverse Text: Romanization: DAI / NIHON / TAISHO / KYU / NEN (Translation: Great Japan, Taisho year 9).
Reverse Image: Value (in Japanese kanji text) with stylized chrysanthemum flower (Imperial Seal of Japan) at top and branches of the Paulownia Flower below; hole through center.
Reverse Text: Romanization: GO / SEN (Translation: 5 Sen).
