Description
The inscriptions on the lid of the case read “HEMACYTOMETER” and “EIMER & AMEND / NEW YORK.” Those on the slide read “Tiefe / 0,100 mm / 1/400 qmm” and “Thoma / CARL ZEISS/ JENA / Made in Germany.” Richard Thoma (1847-1923) was a German histologist.
