Object Details
- Description
- This Jeff Mullins basketball card is number 75 in a series of 264 manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. for the 1973-1974 NBA season. The front of the card features an in-game action shot of the Golden State Warriors guard. The card’s reverse features a small cartoon image illustrating the factoid that “Jeff was a member of the 1964 U.S. Olympic Team,” as well as a short biographical sketch and career statistic.
- Mullins played for the St. Louis Hawks from 1964-1967. After two subpar seasons he was left unprotected in the expansion draft and selected by the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls immediately traded him to the San Francisco Warriors (later Golden State) for whom he played until 1976, averaging nearly 20 points per game.
