Cyrus Avery Horse-Power Patent Model

Description (Brief)
Cyrus Avery received a patent in 1860 for his horse-power machine. This patent model depicts the mechanism that converts “horse-power” (a horse was connected by a pole to the mechanism turning the gear) which would power machines.
