Marine Band Harmonica with Devise for Practicing Harmonica

Description

This harmonica was made by Hohner in Germany, undetermined date. It is a Marine Band model with 10 single holes and 20 reeds. It has a black stained wooden comb with metal cover plates attached to the top and bottom. Accessioned with original cardboard box marked labeled "Walter C. Peterson known as the Kentucky Wonder Bean."

The device for practicing harmonica techniques is made of metal. It was patented by musician Walter C. Peterson, U.S. Patent 1,797,613, March 24,1931.
