This harmonica was made by M. Hohner in Germany, undetermined date. It is an Echo Elite Double model, with 24 double holes and 48 reeds. This harmonica has a blue painted wooden comb with red and silver painted metal cover plates attached to the sides with screws. The box is marked:
HOHNER
ECHO ELITEand the harmonica has a cutout:

The Echo Elite harmonica was designed by American industrial designer and artist John Vassos (1898 – 1985).
