Ergograph

Description
An ergograph measures muscle contractions. This example was devised by Ernst Friedrich Wilhelm Meumann (1862–1915), a German educator, pedagogist and psychologist. The C.H. STOELTING CO. / CHICAGO ILL U.S.A.” inscription refers to a major American scientific supply firm that began in business in 1886.
