Goniometer

Object Details

Description
The “R. Fuess / Berlin” inscription on the horizontal circle of this large optical goniometer refers to a German firm that began in business in the late nineteenth century, and that made many goniometers. This example belonged to, and was probably used by, the Danish-American instrument maker, Lauritz C. Eichner.
