Object Details

Description
This metal souvenir was an advertising gimmick for Dutch Boy Paints, a product established by the National Lead Company in 1907. The image is that of a Dutch boy; and the inscription reads “NATIONAL LEAD COMPANY / GENUINE BABBITT.” The National Lead Company began in business, as such, in 1891, and became NL Industries in 1971.
