Object Details
- Description
- Brass and ivory stomach pump that probably belonged to Charles E. Simon (1866-1927), a professor in the School of Hygiene and Public Health, at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. The red velvet lining of the case suggests that it was made before the growing concern with aseptic instruments in the early 1890s.
