- Description
- Charles Louis Schepens (1912-2006) was a Belgian ophthalmologist who moved to the United States in 1947 and established the Retina Foundation (now the Schepens Eye Research Foundation) in 1950. This is the prototype indirect ophthalmoscope that Dr. Schepens developed, ca. 1945.
