- Description
- A sepia tone carte-de-visite of young family of three. Captured seated on a wooden bench, a dark-haired couple pose with their infant in front of a solid wall. The man wears a dark notched lapel jacket, bowtie, bright shirt, floral vest, dark dress shoes and striped trousers. His hands rest on his thighs. The woman beside him wears her long wavy hair in a parted chignon and a floor length plaid long-sleeve dress. She smiles and holds her baby, who is dressed in a long and full short sleeve dress. On the reverse of the carte-de-visite are graphite inscriptions along with "Jennings" and "Napa," also in graphite.
