- Description
- A black and white photographic print portrait of an unidentified man at the New York Awards Ball in Brooklyn in 2000. The man is depicted just to the right of center frame, in the corner of a tiled room. He wears a double-breasted overcoat in a houndstooth plaid pattern with fur collar over a knit turtleneck. He has a brimmed hat in a similar houndstooth plaid pattern worn at a slant over his proper left eye, with a peacock feather tucked in the brim. He stands looking straight at the camera, his proper right hand resting on the tiled wall next to him. Another man can be seen beyond the doorframe in the background just behind the subject's left shoulder. There are no inscriptions, front or back.
