Description
Albumen print of Fanny Seward shown in bust portrait. The print is cut in an oval and adhered to a paper mount. Seward is facing the camera with her hair parted at the center and gathered in a snood behind her head. She wears a dark colored bodice, white standard collar, and a light and dark colored ribbon is tied in a bow at the front of her neck.
Handwritten in graphite on the bottom center of the mount is the text "Fanny Seward / died 1865".
The photograph is housed in the album 2017.30. The album page has a triple-lined, gold border framing the print.
