- A black-and-white gelatin silver print portrait of Laverne Davis, survivor of the Tulsa Race Massacre. Davis is depicted sitting at a wooden desk with her legs crossed and her hands in her lap, in profile view to the camera. She wears a floral print blouse, a white skirt and white shoes. On the center of the desk is a large lamp, surrounded by a few papers, books, and small decorative objects. An adhesive label on the verso has the photographer's printed name and contact information as well as [Lavern Davis - 1995] in bold italicized text and the photographer's signature [Don Thompson 2014] in graphite.
