Object Details
- Description
- Metal printing plate of a Madam C. J. Walker advertisement that reads "Plain Talk to Men." The plate features additional text, an image of a tin of Madam C.J. Walker's Wonder Pomade, and a graphic of a male bust, all in high relief. The printing surface appears to be copper, while the back of the plate is a dull silver metal with darker stripes. Numerous stains and scratches on both surfaces indicate heavy use.
