- A deep purple-reddish brown photograph of Professor I. H. Hampton of Fayetteville, Tennessee taken by Calvert Bros. & Taylor in Nashville, Tennessee. Prof. Hampton is captured from the chest up, posed slightly to the right. He is wearing a dark color coat with a light color shirt and a dark color tie. On the proper left flap of his jacket is a pin. The photograph has a rectangular mat frame and backing. At the front bottom center is [CBT / Calverlt Bros. & Taylor / Cor. Cherry & Union Sts. / NASHVILLE, TENN.]. On the back, the name and hometown of the sitter appear in black ink at top center [Prof. I. H. Hampton, / Fayetteville / Tenn.].
