- A black-and-white photograph of Maria T. Trimble addressed to Miss B. E. Townsend. Trimble’s portrait is full size, capturing her standing next to a chair with her proper left hand resting on it. She is wearing a dark color floor-length dress with sleeves that are puffed at the shoulder. The dress has a light color neckline. The photograph is backed by cardboard with serrated edges. On the back is a message in pencil handwritten by the sitter to the addressee [Sept 17. ’98 / Compliments / of Maria T. Trimble / to Miss B. E. Townsend].
