United States Army Air Forces or Navy Type AN-6530 Flying Goggles; nickle plated steel frames; one piece gray rubber eye cussion; amber tinted plexiglass lenses; ventilation tube on frame; black elastic adjustable strap; engraved "AN-6530" on bridge of frames.
Summary
The AN-6530 were a mid-World War II production modification for both the Army and Navy. The AN-6530 were a essentially a strengthened version of the Army Air Forces Type B-7 flying goggles.
