- Summary
- This lightweight communications headset was worn by astronaut Walt Cunningham during the Apollo 7 mission in October 1968. Though the astronauts wore a full communications cap with their spacesuits, this headset was lighter and less confining so used more regularly during normal operations inside the spacecraft.
- NASA transferred this headset to the Smithsonian 1974.
