Physical Description
United States Army Air Service (USAAS) issue flying goggles; aluminum frames with cotton eye cups with fleece padding; glass lenses with discolored xylonite anti-shatter coating; broken elastic strap.
Summary
These flying goggles were of British design and were issued to United States Army Air Service (USAAS) aviators as part of their standard flying equipment during World War I.
