- Description
- Vessel with plump oval body, the top center of which opens into a vertical spout with a flaring rim atop a cylindrical neck. A band handle, incised with oblique parallel lines, extends from the neck of the spout below the rim to the vessel shoulder. Opposite the handle and vertical spout, a vertical spout ending in a horse's head extends at an angle from the body. Upright ears and small pellet eyes articulate the head. The vessel rests on four stumplike feet.
