Object Details

Description
Recessed foot unglazed; lacquer repairs.
Clay: medium stoneware, fired red where unglazed.
Glaze: mottled brownish gray; areas of small crackle.
Decoration: grasses boldly painted in iron brown under glaze.

During the summer, the company also maintained seasonal locations in Newport, Bar Harbor, and Atlantic City.
