- Description
- Rectangular, curved sides, top and bottom, resembling a valise with leather straps that wrap from front to back, buckles on each strap on both sides, front features incised decoration of leaf motif, shield reserve at center inscribed "From [illegible monogram]", part just above strap opens as lid, hinged on side, thumb catch opposite, top of lid inscribed "A. Huttenback, 20th July, 1884." Same leaf motif with flowers at center incised on reverse. Striker on bottom.
