- Flat brooch is square, with base of hammered, patinated sheet copper with irregular edges. Applied over base is square of silver engraved with grid pattern. Center of silver pierced with square; soldered to square is irregular metal form with stylized fret pattern. Pin clasp soldered to reverse.
