- Description
- Polychrome block print on yellow linen. Elongated symmetrical classical motif. Green ewer containing red roses with purple leaves. Over flowers is a white canopy, from either side are suspended purple garlands of red flowers, cymbal and horns. From handles of ewer are swags of red and white flowers on purple vine. Ewer stands on green oval plaque with cherubs and connected to yellow tassel? from which hang another green plaque with cherubs and reclining female figure. On either side are elaborate yellow and red scrolls holding smoking green torches.
